The humble square is the backbone of Patchwork.  By using pre-cut fabrics or simple rotary cutting techniques to cut different sizes, squares can be used in a variety of combinations.  Clever piecing techniques allow us to make a multitude of blocks and more complex quilt patterns.  Add to this the equally simple to cut rectangle shape and the possibilities are endless.

 

This course is suitable for both beginners and improvers as it will help you to discover some of the many possibilities available.  At the end of the course, you will have completed a range of samples and transformed them into a useful Machine mat or small quilt.
