Project Linus Sewing Club
Following the success of the project Linus Sewing days I have set up two Project Linus Sewing Clubs with each club meeting once a month. This is where you can join like- minded stitchers to make quilts that will be given to local children that need an extra hug. You can read more information about Project Linus UK here
This is not a class so there is no tuition (or homework!) involved, so you must already be proficient with rotary cutting and 1/4" seams.
Each month you will receive an instruction sheet for a new quilt block or pattern. Working at your own speed you can make as many or as few quilts as you like. Working in partnership with others will not only help you gain confidence but also enable you to share tasks and learn from others.
Fabric and wadding will be provided for you to make one quilt from, and a new quilt or block pattern for you to keep each month, so just bring your sewing machine, threads and basic sewing kit to join in. You will also need to bring your own lunch but hot drinks and biscuits will be available throughout the day.
Due to space restrictions, available places are limited so enroll now to ensure you are part of the club. You can withdraw from the club at any time by giving a months’ notice
